Winnipeg police have arrested five people in a recent drug investigation.

The investigation led to police searching a suite in the 400 block of Furby Street, where several weapons were seized including a 12 gauge shotgun with ammunition, a .22 caliber gun and ammunition, three pellet guns, two cans of bear spray, and a Taser.

Police also seized 64 grams of marijuana valued at $640, nine grams of meth valued at $1,350, seven MDMA pills valued at $70, $25,000 in cash, and other drug-related paraphernalia.

The search resulted in the arrest of 19-year-old Courtney Evans, 38-year-old Sabrina Tyson, 35-year-old Susan Sandy, 29-year-old Adrian Scott, and a 68-year-old male.

All suspects are facing numerous drug and weapon-related charges. They remain in police custody.
