Police said a 24-year-old woman faces charges for allegedly driving a vehicle at her sister, fatally hitting the victim.

Around 5 a.m. on June 11, RCMP were called to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision on Little Grand Rapids, about 268 air miles northeast of Winnipeg, close to the Manitoba-Ontario border.

A 22-year-old woman was later pronounced deceased. Police identified her as Madison Blossom McKay, 22.

An autopsy showed cause of death was due to injuries from a collision, said RCMP.

Pandora Nancy Owens, 24, faces a charge for first-degree murder, said police.
