Police said a woman was struck in East Kildonan and was sent to hospital where she remains critical condition.
The person was struck near Henderson Highway and Kimberly Avenue around noon, they said.
Police said due to the collision, northbound Henderson Highway at Kimberly Avenue was closed to traffic. They asked motorists to avoid the area and to expect delays.
