The company that owns DealFind.com and TeamBuy.ca assures customers and merchants that sales made after Aug. 29 will be paid.
A court date Oct. 22 will determine if a new owner can take over to save the company.

Her family owns J & H Garden Centre.
She said DealFind.com owes the company nearly $5,000 from one deal posted four years ago. A representative from DealFind called her last year to say the company is back on track under a new owner, and asked if she wanted to do business again, she said.
She declined and said she just wants her money. She said the company never got back to her.
Penner hopes another new owner could resolve the debt but mostly she wants to warn others. She’s demanding the website shut down until a new owner is approved.
