Island/> Lake/> RCMP/>/> have charged a man from the Garden Hill First Nation in the stabbing death of a 19-year-old man Tuesday.

Around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night RCMP were called to a stabbing on the Garden Hill First Nation.  19-year-old Maverick Leonard Knott was taken to the local nursing station, where he died of his injuries.  

John Matthew Taylor, age 22, has been charged with Manslaughter.   He's scheduled to appear in a Winnipeg/>/> court on Friday.

RCMP continue to investigate.
