Another pedestrian struck around the same time

Winnipeg police said another pedestrian was struck by a vehicle around 8:20 a.m. Monday.

The collision happened at the intersection of Morley Avenue and Osborne Street.

Police said the victim was taken to hospital and their condition is unknown at this time.

The two incidents are not linked, according to police.

“I have the feeling that it’s just absolute coincidence that they would have occurred at almost the same time,” Const. Rob Carver said.
