Two men are facing charges in connection to the shooting of a man on Portage Ave.
At about 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday the sound of gunshots was reported on the 2700 block.
Police say the 22-year-old victim and three other people met up in the parking lot.
The group got into an argument and the 22-year-old pepper sprayed the suspects.
One of the men pulled out a gun and fired several shots, hitting the victim in the stomach.
Police arrested the suspects around 9:30 Wednesday in the St. James area.
David Paul Moeckel, 23, and Christopher Paul Seguin, 19, are charged with aggravated assaulted and a number of firearms offences. The two remain in custody.
The victim attended hospital with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body and is listed in stable condition.
