A cartridge from a Taser fell off a patrol member's belt while the officer was on duty Monday in northwest Winnipeg, said police. Officers are now trying to locate the cartridge.
The cartridge has probes on wires which extend when the device is used and could pose a risk of harm to the public. The cartridge could be activated by static electricity if someone picked it up and carried it in a pocket.
Anyone finding the cartridge and its pouch is asked to contact police immediately.
