Two people are in custody after Winnipeg police seized thousands of dollars in drugs from an apartment on Friday evening.

Police said they executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 100 block of Smith Street.

Officers said they found 97 grams of crack cocaine, worth about $9,700, and 574 grams of a cutting agent, worth about $500. They said they also found roughly $150,000 in Canadian money, packaging material, cooking utensils, and digital scales.

Will Solomon Gooding, 29, has been charged with multiple drugs-related offences including production of a scheduled substance.

Sophia Rita Kattenat, 31, has also been charged with similar offences.

Both suspects are from Winnipeg, police said.
