Winnipeg police confirmed Friday missing person Reid Bricker has been found dead.
Police say foul play isn’t suspected.
Bricker, 33, went missing in the early morning hours of Oct. 24, 2015.
According to his family, Bricker lived with mental health issues and tried to take his own life the day before.
He briefly spent time that day in St. Boniface Hospital and later, Winnipeg police took him to Health Sciences Centre.
According to family, staff at HSC discharged Bricker just after 3:00 a.m. the day he went missing.
In accordance with privacy protocols and Bricker’s wishes, hospital staff did not notify anybody.
Police say the family is requesting privacy during this difficult time.
