STARS air ambulance will carry some precious cargo to the big game on Sunday. The helicopter rescue service has the responsibility of flying the Grey Cup to Investors Group Field.
The helicopter will take off from somewhere within Winnipeg and land at a spot near the stadium. To ensure safety, exact takeoff and landing sites won’t be publicly released.
STARS had a back-up helicopter brought to Manitoba for the occasion. The crew will remain available for emergency calls, according to a news release from the service.
