A portion of Edmonton Street was closed Sunday afternoon after a crash caused a taxi to flip on its side.
Crews blocked the area of Edmonton Street between Portage and Graham Avenues around 2:00 p.m.
The cab driver told CTV he was hit by a car and that his taxi landed on its side.
“I was just on my bike and saw the fire truck and just followed them to the scene,” said Richard L’Heureux. “Apparently they touched each other and that's it, rolled. Good thing no fluid leaking out.”
Both drivers were uninjured in the crash. The taxi driver said he’s thankful he was wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
