Voluntary recall issued for Safeway six-layer dip

Canada Safeway is voluntarily recalling its Signature Café 6-Layer Dip over concerns it could be contaminated with listeria.

The dips were sold in 425 and 850-gram containers, with a "use by" date for Sept. 16 or earlier.

There are no reports of any illness linked to the recall.

For more information, consumers can call Safeway at 1-800-SAFEWAY or the Canadian Food Inspection Agency at 1-800-442-2342.
