A 21-year-old Winkler man drowned after falling into Rock Lake, about 40 kilometres east of Killarney on Friday.
Three men were fishing in a boat when the victim fell into the water. The others tried to help him but he didn’t resurface.
Police say none of the people in the boat wore life jackets.
The RCMP Underwater Recovery Team is helping with the investigation. Police won’t release the man’s name.
