A young Winnipeg man stabbed June 14 on Home Street, has died from his injuries.
Winnipeg police confirmed Thursday morning that 19-year-old Jesse Cole Wapash died from injuries on June 25.
A female youth was arrested and charged with second-degree murder on Wednesday and remains in custody.
Wapash was found stabbed inside a residence on Home Street when police were called to the scene at 11:40 p.m. on June 14, 2013.
A police investigation revealed the teen was injured in an altercation involving people known to each other.
The accused was previously charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
