RCMP have arrested and charged five youths with second-degree murder in the death of a 28-year-old man on a remote northern First Nation.

Wayne Bradford Wood of St. Theresa Point was found seriously injured and lying on the road in the community on Sept. 26. Emergency crews rushed him to a local nursing station but he died a short time later.

The youths are all between the ages of 15 and 17 years old. They are expected to appear in court in Winnipeg on September 30.
