A double stabbing at a house party Saturday night sent two men to hospital and two others into police custody.
Winnipeg police said two men, who knew each other, started arguing at a house party in the 300 block of Flora Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Things escalated into a physical confrontation, which was broken up, until the fight erupted again outside the home.
Police said two 30-year-old men were assaulted and stabbed. Both men were taken to hospital, one in critical condition.
Both victims are now in stable condition.
Police arrested and charged two men involved in the stabbing.
A 24-year-old man faces charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. A 27-year-old man faces charges of assault with a weapon and two counts of failure to comply with condition(s) of a court.
Both men remain in custody.
