Health Canada has issued a recall of "wet n wild" Eye Make-up Remover due to high numbers of bacteria, including Enterobacter gergoviae and Listeria monocytogenes.

These bacteria can cause eye infections in people, particularly those with weakened immune systems. This strain of Listeria can also cause complications in pregnant women.

The product is a purple liquid that comes in a clear rectangular 3 fl. oz. (88.7mL) bottle. It has an item number of 962 and UPC 077802596208 on the back panel.

7,000 units of the make-up remover, manufactured in China, were sold across Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled eye make-up remover and dispose of it in regular household garbage.
