McCain Foods Canada recalled its brand of hashbrowns because they may contain pieces of plastic.
Anyone who bought McCain Hashbrowns in the 900 g bags with the lot code F40822 and the batch code 1000879725 should throw them away or return them to the store where they bought them.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said McCain issued the recall voluntarily. No injuries related to the recalled food have been reported, CFIA said in a news release.
