Saturday is shaping up to be cloudy and rainy across much of the province. There’s a chance of showers in most places around the late afternoon and early evening.

The only place in southern Manitoba that looks totally clear of rain Saturday is Dauphin. In Winnipeg and Brandon, there’s a 30 per cent chance of showers, while up in central and northern Manitoba around The Pas, Norway House, and Thompson, there’s a 40 per cent chance of rain in the afternoon and early evening.

Those places could see rain extending over the rest of the weekend and into early next week, as well.

The sky will clear up in the south after Saturday. Winnipeg will see warm temperatures around the mid-20s and sunny skies for the last few days of August and into the beginning of September, although there is a chance of some rain on Friday.
