Manitoba is getting ready to host members of the Royal Family.

Prince William’s aunt and uncle, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, will visit the province on June 22.

Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, will tour the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada when they arrive.

The earl will take part in a ceremony to honour 50 young Manitobans who have achieved the gold Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

It is the countess’ first visit to the province. She will visit the Deer Lodge Centre where they are celebrating the centre’s 100th year of service to veterans and the people of Manitoba.

Prince Edward has been to Manitoba several times, including in 2008, his last visit.
