A Winnipeg city councillor and former Winnipeg Jet will have his case back in court Monday.

Last month, a lawyer appearing on behalf of Thomas Steen asked for the case to be put over for three weeks.

Steen is charged with two counts of assault and one count of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

Reports say it happened at a Boston Pizza on McPhillips Street.

The charges have not been proven in court.
