A known car thief is again in custody after a police cruiser was rammed in Winnipeg's North End.
A car collided with the cruiser Tuesday on Garlies Street.
The car was found a few blocks away and towed from the area of Airlies Street and Bannerman Avenue.
None of the officers in the cruiser were hurt.
Two people are in custody.
Sources tell CTV Winnipeg one of the suspects was wearing an ankle bracelet, a device used to monitor some of Manitoba's most chronic car thieves.
Police continue to investigate.
