A well-known West End café will be soon be up for sale.

New Life Ministries said it is being forced to close the Ellice Café and Theatre because it’s losing money monthly.

Reverend Harry Lehotsky, a community activist, was the driving force behind the café, which opened in 2005.

Lehotsky died the following year of pancreatic cancer.

Board members of New Life Ministries said they hope to sell the business to an organization that shares their vision for the West End.

The group hopes to now focus on new ministries in the area.
