The first meeting of the Assiniboine Park Zoo's four polar bears went well, officials announced on Friday.
Hudson, Storm, Kaska and Aurora spent time together in the same enclosure for the first time earlier this week after caretakers gradually introduced them individually.
A video of the four bears playing together accompanied the announcement. In it, Assiniboine Park Zoo’s curator of behavioural husbandry Janice Martin said Kaska appeared to be the friendliest, going up to the other three and play fighting with Storm.
Hudson, on the other hand, stayed mainly to the sidelines and watched the others, said Martin.
