A new Winnipeg store is offering a one-stop shop for women going through the cancer journey.
The Unexpected Gift on Portage Avenue sells special clothing, cosmetics, books wigs and other accessories.
It also has a massage therapist and an aesthetician who specialize in assisting cancer patients.
Owner Tara Torchia-Wells, a breast cancer survivor, says you can find most of these products in Winnipeg but not all in one place. She hopes this will help take some of the stress away from here customers who are busy with doctor appointments and treatments, and don't have the time or energy to run around to different stores.
The Unexpected Gift opens on Monday, July 27.
