Potential NDP leadership candidate Theresa Oswald says several people have approached her to run for the party's top job.
On Thursday, she said she's considering a run but is a long way from making a decision. On Friday, she reiterated her comments and said people are pushing her to throw her hat in the ring.
"More than 10, less than 500," said Oswald when asked how many are interested in seeing her jump in the race.
But Oswald, one of five former ministers who openly questioned Premier Greg Selinger's leadership, said no one can decide to enter the contest until the rules are in place.
The NDP executive is expected to hash out the stipulations for the March convention this weekend.
Premier Selinger would not comment on the possibility of a challenge by Oswald, calling the idea speculative.
