A swing sold at Home Depot stores across Canada was recalled due to issues with its support rod.
Health Canada issued the recall for the Hampton Bay Traditional Patio Swing with Canopy Friday. It said a support rod connecting the swing to the beam can snap or break when the swing is used in a side-to-side motion, as opposed to its intended front-to-back motion.
Hampton Bay received one report of consumer injury or incident, while Health Canada hasn’t received any.
About 671 swings were sold in Canada. The recalled models were sold at Home Depot from February 1 to June 17.
Anyone who bought the product can returns the product to Home Depot for a full refund.
