Winnipeggers looking to party during the Junos will be able to a little later into the night.
Bars, legions and other licensed establishments can apply for a special free permit to serve liquor until 3:00 a.m. between March 24 and 30. Beer vendors can stay open until 3:30 a.m.
Food service won't be required in dining rooms, lounges and hotel beverage rooms for those drinking but must be made available, and they can have two hours of live entertainment, including DJs.
The special permit is in effect at 8:00 p.m. each night.
