A sign stolen from a restaurant owned by former Winnipeg Blue Bomber has been returned to its rightful owner.
CTV reported Thursday that former Blue Bomber Obby Khan, owner of Green Carrot on Osborne Street, tweeted a photo of his sign advertising his new business. His tweet included the message, “Please bring back my sign. I miss it and need it. Please. HUGE REWARD FOR ANYONE THAT BRINGS IT BACK.”
Thursday night, someone dropped the sign off at another Osborne Village restaurant. Khan says thanks to the person who did the right thing and to everyone who helped him get the word out.
Khan also operates the restaurant Shawarma Khan in the Exchange District.
