Hard to believe I'm already on maternity leave and ready to bring home a baby again. To say time flies would be an understatement. At the time of writing this my doctor has told me baby could arrive any day now!
It's been a whirlwind countdown up to this point. I have to admit most of the tail end of this pregnancy has been focused more on work and on my two-year-old daughter than on actual baby #2.
The good news is that at least I've had a few days off this time around to mentally prepare before the little one's arrival!
Two years ago my daughter only gave me one day off of work before she arrived two weeks early!
As a so-called "A type" personality, not being in control of the timing of a major life moment can rattle me a little. But I've started accepting that no matter how much I like to plan things to a "T" there's just some stuff in life that we have to accept is totally out of our control.
Like the start of a new job! I wish I could have had more time sitting in the chair beside Kris before going on maternity leave. But timing is a funny thing.
So until I can get back into the swing of thing with my CTV Morning Live crew, I'll blog every so often about how things are going!
And as I said earlier, time flies! Before I know it I'll be back in the chair like it was yesterday :)
