Coming off a close 24-22 loss against the Toronto Argonauts last week, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are in Calgary tonight taking on the Stampeders.

It's their second and final game of the preseason. Now, just because the games don't count, coach O'Shea isn't giving his team a pass.

"It's important to win. It's important to win," said Head Coach Mike O’Sheabefore the Bombers left for Calgary.

Veteran defensive back Korey Banks had a different mindset, saying the preseason is more about gelling with different personalities but O'Shea believes differently.

"The win is very important, I think, as a group, but we're going there to win games," said O’Shea.

Drew Willy will get another shot to learn the Winnipeg offence, but will still share the field.

O'Shea says the backup QB position is up for grabs. That means the door is open for Purdue Grad, Robert Marve who's coming off ACL surgery.

"My goal is to help Winnipeg win, and keep it moving forward," said Marve.

This is the Bombers’ last preseason game before they open the regular season at home against Toronto on June 26.
