The Santa Claus Parade has come and gone and Winnipeg doesn’t look any closer to winter than it did before.

Sunday will see double-digit highs across all of southern Manitoba. Clouds will start to build up closer to noon, and there’s a chance of some rain in Dauphin.

Central Manitoba will also get rain in places like Norway House, The Pas and Flin Flon.

Farther north, there’s a chance of some flurries in Thompson and Churchill. That precipitation will continue throughout much of the coming week, with flurries or rain showers in central Manitoba communities for several days early in the week.

In Winnipeg, the warm temperatures will start to drop around the middle of the week, and we could get some snow on Friday. After that, sub-zero temperatures will become the norm.
