Winnipeg police busted three marijuana grow operations in one day, seizing hundreds of plants worth more than half a million dollars.
On Monday, police executed search warrants in the 200 block of Tecumseh Street, 700 block of Toronto Street, and 500 of Toronto Street.
In total, officers seized 454 plants with an estimated street value of $508,480. They also found grow operation equipment worth an estimated $27,230.
Two men, both 42, face numerous charges, including producing a controlled substance, production for the purpose of trafficking, and theft over $5,000.
