Health Canada said two models of helmets that were sold exclusively at Canadian Tire have been recalled.

The agency said the recall is for Doodlezz bicycle helmets for children 5 years old and up, and for youth 8 years old and up.

Health Canada said the recalled products were sold with an inner foam liner in the helmet detached from the outer plastic shell, which poses a heady injury hazard.

The recalled helmets are white and were sold with markers and a cleaner to decorate the products, the organization said.

The affected helmets have a sticker on the inside and can be identified by the product lot numbers #SR0214110 and #SR0215075.

About 19,408 of the helmets were sold exclusively at Canadian Tire stores across Canada between March 2015 and April 2016.

There have not been any reports of incidents or injuries related to the product, the organization said.

Anyone who bought the product should stop using it and return it to the store for a refund.
