Vehicle pulled from retention pond in Waverley Heights

The river rescue team was out early Friday morning after a vehicle ended up in a retention pond.

Emergency crews were called to Chancellor Drive shortly before 9:00 a.m., after a vehicle drove into the middle of the pond.

The dive team was sent out to help with the investigation.

Police said no one was inside.

It's not yet known what caused the car to careen into the water.
