A major winter storm to rolled into Winnipeg over Sunday afternoon.

Clouds increased over the day and the wind picked up, blowing between 40 km/h and 60 km/h Sunday afternoon.

Environment Canada predicts between between two and four centimetres to fall Sunday. The snow will taper off by the early evening and the wind will die down to about 20 km/h and becoming light after midnight.

The overnight low is expected to be -6 C.
