Ontario Provincial Police is once again asking for the public’s help in finding Delaine Copenace in the wake of suspending their ground search for the missing teen.
Officials said the OPP’s criminal investigation branch is continuing search efforts.
Copenace, 16, was last seen in downtown Kenora, located about 200 kilometres east of Winnipeg, on Feb. 27. She was reported missing the next day.
The OPP said she was last seen wearing black Etnies skateboard shoes, a black zippered sweater, black jeans with zippered pockets and a “Bullet for my Valentine” T-shirt
Police also issued a photo of a similar T-shirt in the hopes it will trigger more information from the public.
People in Kenora and the surrounding areas are asked to check their personal property, yards and any other outdoor areas.
