Police have one man in custody and a whole lot of drugs off the streets of Winnipeg.
On Saturday Jan. 10, at about 3:45 p.m. members of the Street Crime Unit as well as the Tactical Support Team executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of McCalman Avenue.
As a result of the search a large quantity of drugs and drug related items were located and seized
They include:
- 31.5 ounces of cocaine with an estimated street value of $37,800
- 17 ounces of marijuana with an estimated street value of $2550
- 3.2 ounces of benzocaine valued at approximately $320
- 8 Percocet tablets valued at $160
- 2 grams of hashish oil valued at $50
- Packaging material
- $8940 cash
- A loaded 9mm handgun and ammunition
Twenty-nine-year-old Marc William McIntosh has been charged with numerous drug and weapon related offenses.
He has been detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
