Winnipeg police said a fire caused $155,000 in damage to two homes in Richmond West on Monday.
Fire crews battled a blaze at a home in the first 100 block of Hawstead Road Monday afternoon near Groveland Bay.
The fire broke out around 5 p.m.
The fire caused an estimated $150,000 in damage to one home and $5,000 in damage to a second residence, said police.
People inside both houses managed to make it out safely.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the arson strike force.
