Winnipeg police said foul play is not suspected after a woman found in the Red River on Sept. 25 died in hospital.
She was found in the water near the Louise Bridge.
Winnipeg police say a passerby called in a report of a body in the river around 8:15 a.m. on Friday.
The woman was rushed to hospital in critical condition but later died.
Police said family have been notified.
