Fire crews were busy Sunday night battling two separate blazes in the North End.
Crews responded to the 400 block of College Avenue around 11:30 p.m. to a vacant home engulfed in flames.
There were no injuries. Police estimate the damage at $200,000. The cause of the fire is unknown, but police said members of the arson unit are investigating. They ask anyone with information to call 204-986-6813 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
Just over an hour earlier, around 10:15 p.m., fire broke out on the main floor of a residential duplex in the 600 block of Magnus Avenue.
No one was injured in the blaze, which officials say caused $20,000 in damage.
The fire’s cause is under investigation.
