Families going to Winnipeg Blue Bombers games have a new transportation option being offered on a trial basis.

The team is trying out new exclusive family busses on three Park and Ride routes. Families with young children can park their car and ride on the bus to and from the game.

Children under 12 get to ride the bus for free, while adults pay $5 for the ride to the game. The ride back is free.

The three pick-up points for the family bus routes are McPhillips Station Casino, Club Regent Casino and the Manitoba Hydro office on Taylor Avenue. After the game, the buses will leave from the east end of the Winnipeg Soccer Complex parking lot.

There are a limited number of buses and once they are full, staff will direct families to the regular park and ride buses.
