Imperial Cookies

1 cup butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg

Vanilla

1 tbsp milk

3 cups flour

¾ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

Cream together butter and sugar, add egg and whip. Add vanilla and dry ingredients. Add milk. Mix well to form a dough. Roll out to 1/8 “ and cut into desired shapes. Bake at 350 F for 5 minutes.

When cool, spread with raspberry jam. Make sandwich cookies. Top with icing.

Icing

1 cup icing sugar

2-3 tbsp cream

Mix together to desired consistency. You may have to add more cream or sugar.
