RCMP laid charges in a chain-reaction crash on Highway 7 Thursday afternoon.

Just before 5:30 p.m., Stonewall RCMP were called to a crash scene two kilometres south of Stony Mountain.

Investigators believe the driver of a Honda Civic stopped on the side of the highway to help the driver of a Grand Prix. A southbound Ford pick-up truck rear-ended the Civic and pushed it into the back of the Grand Prix.

The Civic ended up in the ditch, while the truck flipped on its side.

No one was hurt.

Police charged the 40-year-old man driving the truck under the Highway Traffic Act for Drive Imprudently.
