A truck collided with the McPhillips underpass in Winnipeg on Monday morning, leading officials to temporarily re-route traffic.

Around 11 a.m., the city said the truck had been removed from the underpass. McPhillips was also re-opened to traffic.

The truck driver was taken to hospital in stable condition for observation.

An official with CP rail said there was no significant impact to the rail tracks above the underpass, and the regular rail route was back in operation.

The city is still investigating the damage.
