Winnipeg has been named one of the best places to travel in Canada by the Canadian website vacay.ca.
The city as the fifth best place to visit this coming year. This is the first time a Manitoba destination has been on the list.
The website said the much anticipated opening of the Canadian Museum of Human Rights on Sept. 20 helped boost the city’s ranking. The website called the museum “sensational.”
Charlottown PEI grabbed the top spot. Quebec City came in second.
