Five people are facing charges Monday after a woman was assaulted over the weekend.
It happened early Saturday morning in Shamattawa, MB.
RCMP says a 26-year-old woman was critically injured in the assault.
The victim had to be flown to Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg for treatment.
Four women and a male youth have been arrested. All are facing aggravated assault charges.
