Manitoba has modernized three of its border crossings to United States.
The federal government unveiled three new facilities in southwestern Manitoba at Goodlands, Coulter, and Lyleton.
Each port of entry received significant upgrades worth $5.5 million.
The new 300 square-metre facilities feature fully enclosed garages, bi-level inspection line booths, and secure detention cells.
Last year, each border crossing handled at least 13,000 vehicles and at least 20,000 travellers.
