A geographically-rich riding, Dauphin–Swan River–Neepawa encompasses many of Manitoba's great parks, mountain ranges, lakes and First Nations.

Conservative Robert Sopuck won his first full-term seat more than 10,500 votes ahead of New Democrat Cheryl Osborne.
Sopuck was first elected in a November 2010 byelection, when Conservative incumbent Inky Mark retired. Mark is in the race again for this riding, this time as an Independent.
Boundaries
- Saskatchewan to the west, the U.S. to the south, and Lake Winnipegosis and Lake Manitoba to the northeast.
- Has Duck Mountain and Porcupine Mountains Provincial Parks, along with Riding Mountain National Park.
- Home to Red Deer, Dawson, Winnipegosis and Manitoba lakes.
- Centres include Dauphin, Roblin, Rivers, Minnedosa, Neepawa and Swan River.
- Riding includes 11 First Nations.
Industries
- Central Dauphin has a Timothy Hay plant, which exports forage mainly to Asia, a big processing plant for industrial hemp and an ethanol plant.
- Western Roblin had Manitoba’s first co-op grain elevator and is a centre for ranching and farming supplies.
- Northwestern Swan River is an area 50 per cent seeded to grain, oilseeds and other specialty crops; and has beef cattle, pigs and farm-raised wild animals such as deer.
- The riding also offers employment in forestry and tourism.
- Southeastern Minnedosa and Neepawa are ranching supply centres with a large German-Canadian population in addition to Ukrainian-Canadian.
